Appeal judges have ruled that a five-year sentence imposed on a man who raped a little girl was too lenient.
The Crown Office had appealed against the sentence imposed on 44-year-old James Taylor after a public outcry.
In September, judge Lord Reed decided on the sentence because a report suggested there was little risk of Taylor adult agencys dating escort uk.

Taylor, from Grangemouth, had admitted a number of offences committed between August 1998 and December 2002.

They included graphic pictures of Taylor himself raping a little girl, whose age at the time could have been as low as 13 months.
Lord Advocate Colin Boyd said the judge failed to take account of the gravity of Taylor’s offences, society’s abhorrence at his crimes and the deterrence factor.
He also warned that Lord Reed may have been acting on the basis of a flawed adult dating uk report.
Scotland’s Lord Justice General, Lord Cullen, who heard the appeal case with Lord Hamilton and Lady Cosgrove, said Taylor would be sentenced again.

Lord Cullen said: “We have reached the conclusion that, by reason of the gravity of his offending, the five year sentence was unduly lenient.
“It will therefore fall to this court to consider what sentence it should substitute in place of the sentence imposed by the sentencing judge.
“We are satisfied that, before making that decision, we should have the benefit of a full social enquiry report.”
The judges believed “a suitably qualified and experienced clinical psychologist” should be asked to provide a report on Taylor, Lord Cullen said.

A spokeswoman for childcare charity Children 1st said it was pleased the appeal had been upheld.
“This was a shocking and sickening case,” she said.
“We took the decision to speak out because the initial sentence was one that any ordinary person would surely struggle to understand and this was reflected in the calls that we received from people asking what action they adult dating free sex site could take to object to it.
“This is something that in our experience hasn’t happened after other cases. Children depend on adults to keep them safe.
“They must be given the message that their experiences are recognised and that we will not tolerate cruelty against them.”
No date has been fixed for Taylor to be sentenced.
